COVID-19 Relief
While the entire nation is at home during this lockdown, due to COVID-19, the Waste-Pickers of Pune & Pimpri Chinchwad, are still providing Waste Collection Services and maintaining the city's Health and Hygiene. We supported them in maintaining theirs.
Lokumal Kishinchand Charity Trust, through Kashtakari Panchayat Pune, distributed Ration and PPE Kits to 500 waste-pickers who strive to keep the city clean.
EDUCATION
As on date, 3605 children are availing formal education till 10th at schools constructed by Chellaram Charities
In 2016-17, sponsored 129 students to pursue and complete their education
Since 2015, financially assisted 246 Visually Impaired students in completing their education
Every year, around 120 Mentally Challenged students are benefitted through the computer centre started by Chellaram Charities at ADAPT, Colaba, Mumbai
